Well summer has come and gone, this photo (although taken at the beginning of September) really sums up riding at this time of year. I am looking forward to many cold, rainy and foggy rides over the next few months.

I opened up Aperture today and the reality hit me, I am backlogged with personal photos that need editing. I have no excuse for not posting regularly. The nice thing about a backlog is that I can rediscover gems such as this one.

One of the things I love about Mission BC is the access to all the beautiful settings. There are so many creeks and waterfalls that they can’t possibly all have names. Many creeks are seasonal and some spring up never to be seen again.

It isn’t very often I set up my lights for my family. Not sure why as you would think they are a convenient subject to work with. Anyway tonight I got the gear out and set up in our dining room which has this nice brick wall I have been wanting to use as a back drop for some time now. Although the kids inevitably cried and didn’t want to cooperate until marshmallows were involved, I enjoyed it and think I need to do this more often.
